Join Jamesy the koala and his three hilariously silly cockatoo aunties—the 3 Cockies—as they discover the dangers of the harsh Australian sun. Along the way, you’ll meet a cast of charming Australian animals who share important tips for keeping sun-smart.

Wear a helmet on a bike, you cannot risk a headstrike!

Join Jamesy the koala and his 3cheeky Cockie aunties as they head to the beach for a day of fun! But before the wheels of their bicycles and skateboards start spinning, their clever friend Doc Croc has an important reminder: “Don’t forget your helmets!”. Doc Croc explains why our brains are precious, what a concussion really means, and how wearing a helmet helps protect us while we play. Told through colorful cartoon Australian animals, gentle humor, and easy-to-understand medicine, Doc Croc & the 3 Cockies helps kids learn:

Don’t be silly when you are swimming

Join Jamesy the Koala and his cheeky cockatoo aunties, the 3 Cockies, as they teach Paddy the Platypus how swim and to become confident and safe in the water. With the wise advice of Doc Croc, a crocodile, and Shelly, the brave surf lifesaver sea turtle, the friends learn how to stay safe whether they are at the beach, the river, or the “Billabong pool”. Young readers learn:
– Why it’s important to learn to swim and to never swim alone.
– To swim between the flags at the beach and to swim under the supervision of a lifesaver.
– What rip currents are and how to get out of them safely.
– Why you should always shut the pool gate.
– How to recognise emergencies and get help quickly.

Doc Iwayii & The 3 Kilas: Watch out for skin sores

Doc Iwayii, also known as Doc Croc, is a crocodile doctor. Joined by the cockatoo aunties, “the 3 cockies”, he goes on an adventure to Far North Queensland! Working with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Doc Iwayii travels to the beautiful remote First Nations community of Lockhart River to do a health clinic. Deep within the lush tropical rainforest, they meet a green tree python with a skin sore. With the help of a cast of wonderful Australian animals, this engaging story teaches children the importance of: looking after their skin, cleaning and caring for skin sores, and seeking help from a doctor.
